Hoss Intropia was set up in Madrid (Spain) in 1994. Since then, with every new collection we have strived to create an original, eclectic and varied product for today’s cosmopolitan woman.
Michael Roberts, Vanity Fair’s Fashion and Style Director, photographed the spring/summer 2006 collection and remarked: “Hoss Intropia reminds me of the wardrobe of a contemporany woman, who travels and collects eclectic pieces from all corners of the globe, and puts them together in an individual way”.
You won’t find the word Intropia in any dictionary; it’s a magical fusion of two words: interior and utopia, which together synthesise a philosophy not only of fashion, but of life itself. A utopia that emerges from the interior of a woman possessed of extraordinary sensitivity, a unique individual who shies away from stereotypes, enjoys authenticity and naturally projects her concerns and experiences, her dreams made reality.
As Virginia Woolf said at the start of the twentieth century: “the dresses, though they may seem frivolous, have a much more important role than merely covering our body. They also change our vision of the world and the vision that the world has of us”.
This is the philosophy that infuses our brand. To create real and varied fashion for real flesh and blood women, without any age or size barriers, helping to bring out the best in each and every woman, encouraging her to combine the infinite possibilities of a single garment.
Because fashion’s only function is to help each and every woman to be herself.
