Macleod Agencies owner and founder, Chrisy Macleod developed a love of textiles and fabrics from an early age earning her the nickname of ‘the magpie’ due to her various finds at local jumble sales.
She began her career studying Clothing Management and Technology at Manchester Metropolitian University, England. She then honed her skills in fashion as a buyer for a product sourcing company in New Zealand, developing product ranges for large commercial retailers.
Upon her return to Dublin, the market for her product knowledge was extremely limited, and thus Macleod Agencies was formed. Macleod Agencies strives to represent the most innovative designers in Europe, Asia, Australia, and The United States.
Chrisy is strongly influenced by an artist’s perspective, being attracted to brands whose designers have an eclectic and distinct vision, while being commercially viable at the same time. As far as the day to day running of the agency is concerned, building customer relationships is what the agency prides itself on. We believe it is important in our industry to be trustworthy, efficient and reliable.
Currently represented at Macleod Agencies are 12 labels from around the globe. In 2003, Hoss Intropia joined Macleod Agencies and quickly grew to become one of the most recognised brands in Ireland. Our brands are stocked in 100 better boutiques and department stores in the Republic and Northern Ireland. Chrisy currently lives in Dublin with her Kiwi husband Stu, and their two sons Shay and Oran.
